Are you wondering if chiropractic care is right for you? Or do you just want to know what to expect before you make an appointment? Then you've come to the right place.
Is chiropractic right for you?
Most people who end up at Flow aren't here "just by chance."
They often come through someone they know—someone who, after years of searching, finally received help.
Or they read our reviews and see themselves reflected in other people's stories.
Flow Chiropractic is a good fit for you if you:
Tired of recurring pain or symptoms?
You don't just want to get rid of the pain; you also want to function better
Open to change and consistency
You might even feel like, “There’s probably no hope for me anymore.”
Things that don't quite fit with Flow:
If you think a few treatments will solve everything
If you're not open to change or collaboration
Common Concerns (and the Honest Answer)
“Isn’t chiropractic dangerous or painful?”
No. Chiropractic care is safe and painless.
We use comfortable, modern techniques, and it’s no coincidence that we have one of the lowest liability insurance premiums in the healthcare sector—serious side effects simply don’t occur.
Sometimes, you may experience temporary pain or muscle soreness. This usually means that old compensatory patterns are beginning to release. Think of it like starting a workout routine: change can be uncomfortable at first, but it’s part of the recovery process.
That's exactly why we see people a little more often at the beginning, so we can get through this together.
What can you expect?
First appointment
Your first visit will take about 30 minutes.
We take the time to listen to your story
We conduct targeted research and a posture analysis
We'll take a look at how your body functions and moves
In most cases, we also perform an initial treatment
At the end of this appointment, you'll receive all the information you need to decide whether you want to start receiving care at Flow.
Second appointment
During your second appointment:
Let's go over your posture analysis together
Are you starting your care plan?
This appointment usually takes place within a few days.
What people often notice after their first few treatments
That it's much quieter and more comfortable than expected
That they feel relaxed
That they literally feel they have “more space”
That they sleep more deeply and are extra tired in the evening
In the first phase, symptoms may also shift temporarily. This is normal and provides us with valuable information about how your body is adapting.
How We Work
Research & Evaluation
We don't look at long lists of tests.
We observe how you move, how your body functions, and listen to what your body is telling you.
The actual assessment often takes place on the treatment table, where we can feel tension and blockages in the spine.
Care by Appointment
At each appointment, we reassess how your spine moves.
We choose 2 to 3 key points to work on at a time—that way, we don't overload the nervous system, and your body can integrate the changes more effectively.
Physical Activity & Integration
You'll get a simple daily Flow routine:
10 minutes of morning exercise — like brushing your teeth for your spine.
We also recommend taking a 10-minute walk after each appointment.
Exercise helps the body retain changes, just as using new words helps with learning a language.
Education
We deliberately keep explanations brief during appointments.
The treatments are short and targeted, so we can focus entirely on what your body needs at that moment.
Every 12th appointment, we schedule a check-in. During that appointment, we’ll take extra time to see how things are going, discuss your progress, and answer any questions you may have.
For a more in-depth look, we also invite new members to our " Better Results Faster" workshop —held twice a month on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.
During this workshop, we’ll explain how chiropractic care works, how you can achieve faster and more lasting results, and we’ll answer the questions that just about everyone has.
Stages of Care
We work in phases because the body needs time to change.
1. Lighting (relief)
Pain is your body's way of hitting the brakes to protect you.
It's often the first thing to disappear—which is why this phase is relatively short.
2. Stability
Even after the pain has gone away, compensatory patterns often remain.
In this phase, we work on improving function so that symptoms do not return.
3. Resilience
Your body continues to adapt to the life you lead.
Preventive care helps people continue to function better—just as exercise and healthy eating do.
Care is never mandatory, but stopping as soon as the pain goes away is like getting in shape and then letting everything slide.
Your body is always in motion—we help support it.
Practical Information
What should I wear?
Dark, form-fitting clothing works best for the posture screening.
Can I bring my children?
I'd rather not for the first appointment—it requires a bit more attention.
Children are welcome to follow-up appointments; we have toys. Think of this as your moment, your "me time."

Paid on-street parking in front of the clinic and on side streets
